Tasks to be undertaken: You are required to evaluate the PRINCE2 project management methodology. Write a report and explain its purpose, characteristics, suitable application and popularity. Outline at least one area of how PRINCE2 addresses key project management issues such as Risk, Configuration Management, Quality and Plans etc. You must also compare the approach taken in PRINCE2 with another internationally recognized management framework (e.g. Agile), critically analyzing the approaches taken in both to identify potential strengths and weaknesses.
The report must be produced to a professional manner. Your work must be typed on a single sided A4 paper with pages numbered. You must choose a legible font and use 1.5 or double line spacing. Errors in spelling and grammar will be penalised. Please use UK spellings throughout. Please note that formatting and presentation of the documentation will be taken into account when marking.
