Part One Pre-Natal Plan
  1. Conduct Research on various interactive birth plans, next choose a plan that you feel is best for you.  Write a brief summary about the results of the birth plan that you have selected to give birth to this child. Add cited work for this one.
  2. People always wonder how any pregnant women could jeopardize the health of her fetus. Describe how you changed your behavior during your pregnancy.
Part Two Decisions
  1. What qualities should a good parent possess and why? Add research that support it, and cited work.
  2. Which of your qualities do you believe will help make you a successful parent?
  3. Which of your qualities may interfere with your ability to be a good parent?
  4. What can you do as a parent to promote your child's development in the following areas: cognitive development,language development,physical development, social emotional development, personality development, moral development,creativity,secure attachment? (see chapter reading for assistance) add each with what area they belong such as Floy & Erickson…
  5. Do you agree that having children involves a sacrifice? If so, what are you willing to sacrifice?
  6. How will you develop synchrony with your baby?
  7. What are your hopes for this child's future? Using the Theorist, Urie Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Model on page 9, and chapter one. What can you do to insure this child has the future you are hoping for? Tie in the concepts with your response.
  8. What is the cost to raise a child to the age of 18 (you may have to research the internet for this question) Please be detailed.  How do you plan to support this child?
  9. Will you choose to be a single Parent or will you choose to not have a child unless you are married? What are the advantages or disadvantages of each decision? Please include research, with this response.
Part Three Letter to the unborn child Based upon the research facts, Please write a letter to your unborn child. In the letter, students should describe why they want children, how they hope to parent children (lifestyle, discipline, etc.), what they would like their children to be like, and what they can offer their future offspring as a parent. The last part of your letter includes: What bits of wisdom have you acquired that you wish to pass on to your child?
